He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Gulledge Jordan Merritt; and his brother Printice Cook. He is survived by: his wife Marie Jordan of Vienna; his sister Dorothy Ann Jordan Foster of Byron; his siblings-in-law, Helen (Mark Murphy), Betty (Willard Brewer) and Freddie Snider; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Leslie Allen of Warner Robins, Steve, Robyn Allen of Peachtree City, David and Charla Allen of Blakley.
