She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Robert Carlton Garrett, Sr.; her parents, Charles Driskell Hargrove and JoAnne Carson Bivins of Vienna, GA; her parents-in-law, Clara Culpepper Garrett and Joseph Zeno Garrett; and her brother-in-law Richard Garrett of Macon, GA.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Carlton Garrett Jr. (Marie) of Sylvester, GA and Marcia Robyn Garrett of Villa Rica, GA; her sisters, Jana Hargrove Powers (Sam Jr) of Cordele, GA and Dinah Hargrove Burns (Alan) of Carmel, IN; her grandsons, Joseph Carson Garrett (Victoria) of Hawkinsville, GA, Peyton Barwick (Morgan) of Savannah, GA and Parker Barwick (Ashley) of Richmond Hill, GA; her great grandchild Emmie Barwick of Fitzgerald, GA; her nieces and nephews, JoAnna Powers Arnold (Bob) of Americus, GA, Amy Powers Hardin (Charles) of Arabi, GA, Laurie Anne Burns of Indianapolis, IN, Tracy Bradley of Macon, GA, Dana Dotherow of New Braunfels, TX, Adam Carson Burns (Ashley) of Lombard, IL and Jim Coffer (Sue) of Brentwood, TN; and her siblings, Ann Gambrell Stripling and Hobby Stripling, Sr.. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, along with her best friend.
