He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Tinsley Adams and John C. Adams, Sr.; his wife Mary F. Adams; and his son Tony Adams. He is survived by: his children, Barbra Hardy of Warner Robins, Mary Adams, Elizabeth Adams of Americus, Valencia Jon, Vaney Hamilton of Cordele, Georgia, John Adams of Plains, Oscar Freeman of Montezuma and Willie C. Moore (Bobby Adams); and his sisters, Ruthie Trice of Cincinnati, Mae Nell Hardrick of Vienna, Bernell Ross of Warner Robins, Lucy Adams of Smyrna and Betty Merrell of Vienna, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and sorrowing friends.
Because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines have limited the number of people that are allowed to attend services to 10 or less including ministers and funeral staff.
