He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Gertrude Shifflett Heard and Milford Jackson "Jake" Heard; and his brother Gary Neal Heard. He is survived by: his wife Faye Bullington Heard of Vienna; his daughters, Jenny Heard Bankston (Mike) of Wrightsville and Janet Heard Kelly (Jim) of Perry; and his grandchildren, Amelia Grace Kelly and Carson Alexander Kelly.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic and governmental restrictions, the family will have a private graveside service.
