He was predeceased by: his children, Jack, Curt, Louis and Cindy; and his grandson Trevor.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Waring (Kiwanis); his children, Lane and Elise; and his daughter-in-law Vicci. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Melbourne Kiwanis Club, First Methodist Church of Melbourne, Space Coast Honor Flight or American Legion Post 81.
