Lewis, Lonnie Cobb and Marilyn Rouse; his children, Alphonso Gary, Jr., Alton Gary (Stephanie), Shawnea Gary, Ronkisha Thomas and Layla Taylor; his grandchildren, Alteria Gary, Alton Gary, Altavious Gary, Nayla Rogers, Edessa Sylerin and Edana Sylerin; his sisters, Deborah Gary, Jennifer Mays (Stanley), Wendy P. Jones and Henrietta Holmes (Rufus); and his uncle Sammie Cobb. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
