It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Sue Kersey of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Fort Rucker, Alabama, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandson Duncan Scott Wallace; her parents, Talmadge Franklin Joyner and Evelyn Cassie Beck Joyner; and her brothers, James Joyner and Robbie Joyner.
She is survived by: her husband Elton Kersey of Vidalia; her children, Christy Connell of Vidalia, Misti Brown of Macon and Elton C. Kersey of Vidalia; her siblings, Linda Joyner of Vidalia and Tommy Joyner of Lyons; her grandchildren, Jasmine Sky Connell and Thomas J. Brown; and her great grandchild Hendrix Coleman Blackshear. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
