She is survived by: her children, Treyon Day-McClain, Aviya Day-Scott (Curtis) and Jimmy "Punch" Thomas III; her grandchildren, Nyla, Kamari and Adonnis; her siblings, Ramona Day, Christie Day, Monique Day, Fatima Ayeni, E. Bernard Day and Michael Plater; her nieces and nephews, Marqwon (Rosandra), Reshawn, Redaijah, Alyssa, Mikaela, Jo'Hari, Mammie-Rose, Aric-Azure (Breeze), Kamaria Ayeni and Lakia Jr. (Poodah); and her close friend Nicholas Polke. She is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
