It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vondell Blaxton (Vidalia, Georgia), born in Cobbtown, Georgia, who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Guy Davis and Herbert Blaxton; her children, Durwood Collins, Donnie Collins and Patricia Ann Campbell; and her parents, Joshua Henry Sewell and Lori Kicklighter Sewell.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda NeSmith of Lyons; her grandchildren, Cindy Howell (Timmy) of Higgston, Donnie Sam Collins, Jr. of Staten Island, Patty Akridge (Pete) of Stillmore, James Ram Collins of Glenwood, Jimmy Collins (Brenda) of Soperton, Ina Bridges (Walter) of Glenwood, Shonda Jackson Whitney (David) of Vidalia, Timmy Collins of Glenwood and Dawn Cauley (Jamie) of Johnson Corner; her sister Eunice Collins; her daughters-in-law, Wanda Toole Collins of Johnson Corner and Barbara Frailey Collins of Glenwood; and her sisters-in-law, Nanlou Sewell of Cobbtown and Elizabeth McLemore of Vidalia. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
