She was predeceased by: her husband William B. "Billy" Kirkland; her grandson Anthony Kirkland, Jr.; her parents, Felton Mimbs and Vashti Boyette Mimbs Phillips; and her siblings, Lois Mimbs Spivey, Charles Mimbs and Harley Mimbs.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Kirkland (Susan) of Johnson Corner, Kaye Usher (Randy), Michelle Peebles (Dickey) of Augusta and Dwayne Kirkland (Becky) of Johnson Corner; her sister Rachel Dampier of Pt; and her grandchildren, Jason Kirkland (Christy), Melissa Davenport (Madison), Leigha Salyer (Nathan), Jamie Usher, Travis Usher (Pam), Ashleigh Harman (Thomas), Jeremy Peebles (Ashlee Cobb) and Sierra Kirkland-Foster (Rob).
