He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Blaxton; his parents, Alex Grover Blaxton and Mamie Beckum Blaxton; and his siblings, Juanita Blaxton Tyson, Betty Blaxton Humphrey and Herbert Blaxton.
He is survived by: his wife Irpeel Barfield Blaxton of Vidalia; his sons, Donnie Blaxton (Aurora) of Henderson and Tony Blaxton (Frieda) of Bonaire; his sisters, Joanne Blaxton Waters of Oak Park and Elizabeth Blaxton McLemore of Vidalia; and his grandsons, Beau, Elijah, Jerome and Jasper.
