He was predeceased by: his father Harold Sykes; and his brother Gary Sykes. He is survived by: his mother Betty Sykes; his daughter Betty Nicole Adams; his sister Connie Harmon; his granddaughters, Adelynn and Sydney Buchanan; and his son-in-law Michael Adams.
