Sarah Clifton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Clifton of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Clifton; her son Walter Rudolph Clifton; her grandson Shane Williamson; her parents, Thomas L. Simpson and Agnes Curl Simpson; and her brothers, Ellery Simpson and Lamar Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Madeline Glatfelder (Ron) of Montrose, Sydney Clifton (Bruna) of Reidsville, Bertha Bearden of Vidalia, Sandra Harris of Vidalia and Wanda Connell (Jimmy); and her siblings, Rubye Wilkes of Lyons and A. L. Simpson of Atlanta. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
