She was predeceased by: her husband J. Ervin Phillips; her son David Ronald Sheppard; her parents, Cecil Rountree and Lexi Taylor Rountree; and her siblings, Ester Rountree, Mary Ricketson, Melba Howard and Herbert Rountree.
She is survived by: her son Mark Phillips (Amy); her grandchildren, Hagan and Mark Jr. (Morgan); her great grandchild Blakeleigh; and her siblings, Edna Brown, Leila Smith and Wendell Rountree. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
