Sandra Dowd Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Dowd of Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on August 14, 2020, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Faye Geiger. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Dowd of Vidalia; her sons, Keith Dowd of Claxton and Joshua Dowd (Victoria) of Lyons; her siblings, Susie Joyner of Thomson, Adam Joyner of Vidalia and Doug Joyner (Ingrid) of Thomson; her grandchildren, Brantley Dowd and Clara-Ann Dowd; and her cousins, Gary Soley, Dennis Joyner, Bobby Joyner and Diana Joyner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

As a result of COVID-19 and for everyone's protection, the family has requested that CDC Guidelines be followed, including Social Distancing. Though wearing a mask is not mandatory, it is suggested that it be worn at the visitation and funeral service.
