He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ray Stevens Sr. and Marjorie Stevens; and his grandparents, Clarence Jones, Etta Benston, Ray Stevens and Bessie Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Newson Stevens of Vidalia; his siblings, Keith Stevens of Rome, Sheron Freeman of Lyons and Renee Stevens of Vidalia; his stepchildren, Mack Kersey of Lumber City, Teresa Hunt of Vidalia and Tonya Batchelor of Blue Ridge; and his grandchildren, Madison Mitchum of Blue Ridge, Tyler Mitchum and Cody Mitchum.
