It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Fountain Sr. (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Brad Fountain; his parents, Howard Lee Fountain and Mary Nabb Fountain; and his brothers, Edmond Kramer and Ray Fountain.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Dixon Fountain; his son Roy Fountain, Jr.; his stepsons, Mike Dixon (Maria) of Wheeler County, Paul Dixon of Wheeler County and Marty Dixon (Debbie) of Wheeler County; his sisters, Pat McCoy Nail (Andy) and Julie Fountain Screws (Robert) of Lyons; and his sister-in-law Laura Fountain of Treutlen County. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
