She was predeceased by: her siblings, J. W. Thomas and Lola Thomas Lovett; her son Bobby Grubbs; and her granddaughter Karlessia Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Ray Travis (Tracey), Edithia Thomas and Kenny Goethe (DeCarla); her grandchildren, Kenyatta (John), Katavyn, Courtney, Dominick, Kenny Jr. (Nicole) and Kyle; her siblings, James Thomas Sr. (Geradine) and Shirley Thomas Carter; and her sister-in-law Lelia Mae Thomas. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
