She was predeceased by: her grandmother Polly Ann Hicks; and her siblings, Ida Mason, Roy Lee Mason, Amie Moffett, Tommy Lee Mason, Polly Degrate, Lillian Mason, Georgia Mae Dixon, Williams Hicks, James A. Hicks, Lillie B. Jones and Daisy Mae Jones.

She is survived by: her foster daughter Cathy McLendon; her cousins, Henry Lewis Jones, Louise Washington, Beatrice Bogle, Doris Jackson, Warnell Hicks and Julia Dale Barnes; and her caregiver Annette Raiford Johnson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
