Bays of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Saint Paul, Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Austin Benjamin Bays and Ruth Naomi Chaffin Bays; his wife Peggy Bays of Vidalia; his daughters, Angela Bays McDonald (Jim) of Wauconda, Melissa Bays Holdren (Stan) of Vidalia and Alison Bays Robinson (Ben) of Clinton, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Jake Siegers of Naperville, English Siegers of Los Angeles and Alex Robinson of Clinton; and his sisters, Ruby Kane of Mechanicsville and Mary Romer (Mike) of Myrtle Beach. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
