It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Roan Jr. of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Gerald Roan, Sr. and Iola Pearcy Roan; his son Charles David Roan; and his sister Patricia Roan McDonald (Pat). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Murner Roan; his sons, Michael Roan and Philip Roan (Mareita); his grandchildren, Jennifer Markiewicz (Bryce), Jacqueline James (Keith), David Roan (Corttney) and Paul Roan; and his sister-in-law Faye Rooks.

Box 2216 Smyrna, GA 30081 in his honor for the many days of help the Smyrna Fire Department gave Rex (Jerry) in the last two months or in his honor to The Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, P.O. Box 1311, Vidalia Georgia 30475.
