She was predeceased by: her mother Effie Allen McCoy; her husband G. B. Demond Barwick; and her daughters, Angela Jones and Gina Marie Barwick. She is survived by: her children, Andy Barwick (Renee), Sammy Barwick (Angie), Dana Barwick, Tammy Harrell and Tina Phillips (Billy); her sisters, Elizabeth Barwick, Marilyn "Mert" Thigpen, Mary Warren and Ann Bohannon; her grandchildren, Amanda, Timothy, Christy, Selena, Christopher, Anthony Joshua "AJ", Becky, Leslie, Winston, John, Josh, Billy, Jr., Dannah, Joshua and Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Gabe, Chloe, Eli and Kaylin.
