He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Marvin Hayes and Willene Dollie Castleberry Hayes; and his siblings, Debbie Hayes and Johnnie M. Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Terry Bass Hayes of Vidalia; his son Bryan Hayes (Lyndsey) of Clarkdale, Georgia; his stepson David Goddard (Michelle) of Longwood, Florida; and his sisters, Gwen Perez of South Carolina, Teresa Hayes of Montana and Tena Neunaber (David) of Illinois. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and cousins, including two special cousins.
