He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. McDonald and Dixie McDonald. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie McDonald Franciosi (Pete) of Sarasota, Florida; his granddaughter Aspen Franciosi of Sarasota; and his siblings, Faye McDonald Royal (Luther) of Claxton and Roger McDonald (Sherri) of Vidalia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
