He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Norfleet Denmark; his children, James and Debbie Norfleet Sanders; his parents, Payne Denmark and Eula Partin Denmark; and his brother-in-law Troy Hightower.
He is survived by: his sons, Melvin Denmark (Michelle) of Vidalia, Mark Denmark of Johnson Corner and Benji Denmark (Kristi) of Johnson Corner; his siblings, Annie Ruth Gay (Wendell), Grace Hightower, Nellie Earl Hale and Edward Denmark (Janette) of Johnson Corner; his grandchildren, Melayna, Katie, Hope, Bradley, Cole and Conlee; and his great grandchildren, Winrey and Crash.
