She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Royal McGowan and Annie Laura Adams McGowan. She is survived by: her husband Curtis M. Lewis; her sons, Mike Lewis (Angie) of Vidalia and Brian J. Lewis (Christy) of Roswell; her grandchildren, Tye Lewis (Delany Hendricks), Yna Lewis of Roswell, Maggie Lewis of Gainesville, Troy Lewis of North Augusta and Tricia Lewis of Atlanta; her great grandchild Henry Banx Lewis; her sisters, Annette White of Dublin and Juanita Riddle of Darien; and her close friend Carolyn Burns of Soperton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
