He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jeremy Scott and Jesse Scott; his granddaughter Bailey Scott; his father Cecil Melvin Scott, Sr.; his former wife Ruby Collins Scott; his daughter Crystal Gail Cox (Chris) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Bradley Scott, Cory Cox, Cole Cox and J. J. Scott; his mother Wilma Jackson Scott of Normantown; and his siblings, Joann Scott Fulford (John) of Alamo, Linda Scott of Normantown, Jerry Scott (Suzanne) of Vidalia and Dustin Scott of Warner Robins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
