She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Hilton; her parents, Gaston Levi Collins, Sr. and Sidney Pearl Hall Sheppard; and her brother William S. Collins. She is survived by: her sons, Travis E. Turner (Samantha) of Vidalia and Sterling M. Fountain (William) of Mt. Vernon; her grandchildren, Bryleigh Turner, Cassie Turner and Nellie Fountain; her stepfather Gene Sheppard of Vidalia; her siblings, Gaston Levi Collins, Jr. (Freida) of Vidalia and Brenda Collins Martin (Don) of Pensacola, Florida; her uncle Jimmy W. Hall of Valdosta; her aunt Martha L. Hall Pittman of McCaysville; and her stepsiblings, Ken Sheppard of Alston, Tonya Sheppard of Lyons and Melissa Altman of Reidsville.
