It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meldra Collins (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on October 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Meldra Collins to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enus Festus Higgs and Offa Rollison Higgs; her former husband Joseph Jarell Collins; and her siblings, Hulan, Mildred, Mary, Winston, Jean and Doris.
She is survived by: her children, David J. Collins (Lisa) of Hawkinsville, Virginia "Jenny" Collins Lynn (Mickey) of Ohoopee, William C. Collins of Ohoopee and Joseph L. Collins of Pulaski; and her siblings, Margie Patrick (Charlie) of Lyons, Dorothy Cobb of Lyons, Butch Higgs of Lyons and Joyce Higgs of Alabama. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
