Mary Clifton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Clifton (Vidalia, Georgia), who passed away on August 7, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband T. R. Clifton; her son Johnny Clifton; her parents, Hamp Hobson Carpenter and Marie Murphy Carpenter; and her siblings, James Carpenter, Ruth Carpenter Wood and Rod Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Gloria Clifton of Montgomery County; her grandchildren, Candice Clifton Ashley (Ken) of Savannah, Derek Clifton (Michelle) of Savannah and Clay Clifton (Morgan) of Vidalia; and her sister Flora Carpenter Moseley (Bobby) of Hazlehurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
