It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lummie Spence of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Spence and Anis Helms Spence; and his siblings, Jim Spence, Frank Spence, Milton Spence and Mae Spence Mayes.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dot Futch (Dwayne) of Brunswick and Patricia Jones of Vidalia; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Mayes and Cindy Spence of Gladwin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family has elected not to have a service in light of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
