He was predeceased by: his father W. Thomas "Coot" Scarboro; his son Michael; and his siblings, Johnny Scarboro (Thomas Gene Scarboro, Sr.) and Betty Scarboro. He is survived by: his mother Reba Copeland Scarboro; his daughter Kacey Scarboro (Jacob Kight) of Vidalia, GA; and his grandson Jayton Kight.
