She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Clayton Pitts, Sr. and Alice Olene Davis Pitts; and her brother Clayton Pitts. She is survived by: her son Sam Owens (Lorie) of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Nicholas Owens of Athens and Natalie Owens of Atlanta; and her sisters, Charron Hearn (Jim) of Kinston and Phyllis Brinson (Armon) of Griffin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
