He is survived by: his wife Connie Thigpen Sowell of Vidalia; his children, Jill Sowell Rodgers (Ryan) of Uvalda and Dan Sowell (Steffi) of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Neal Rodgers (Amy) of Naples, Kaline Sowell of Texas, Ana and Zoey Sowell of Oklahoma; his great grandchild Ryan Rodgers; and his siblings, Hubert Sowell (Dianne), Jerry Sowell of Vidalia and Carolyn Sowell of Vidalia.
