Kay Truett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2024, at the age of 88, Kay Truett of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Lyons, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Artis Preston Truett Jr.; her parents, Edward Odom and Annie Coleman Odom; and her siblings, J. E. Odom, Cecil Odom, Bruce Odom, Eloise Krulic, Annie Harrell and Joyce Gay.
She is survived by: her close friend Holly (Kay Odom Truett); her children, Dr. Artis Preston, III Truett (Allison) of Owensboro, KY, Tammy Michelle Gingrich (Roy) of Vidalia and Thomas Thaddeus Truett (Leigh) of Saint Simons Island; and her grandchildren, Colman Elijah, Sara Gabrielle, Chloe Preston, Camille Carrick, Camden Mitchell, Charlotte Odom Truett and Allen Joseph Gingrich.
