She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Johnson and Cleo Walkup Johnson; and her siblings, Fannie Ruth Durden, Christen Johnson and Melvin Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Leandro Castillo of South Thompson; her children, Jesse Castillo of South Thompson, Haley Phelps (Charles) of Lyons and Sonni Castillo of Vidalia; her grandchildren, Jaden Braddy, Jaslin Phelps and Mackenzie Phelps; and her brothers, Raymond Johnson (Marilyn) of Tarrytown and Gail Johnson (Theresa) of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
