He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Jean High Caraway; his parents, J. D. Caraway and Margaret Virginia Wilcher Caraway; and his siblings, Eddie Todd, Virginia Spainhour, Oliver Caraway, Vernon "Pete" Caraway and Edwin Caraway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Caraway of Vidalia, Vickie NeeSmith and Zelda Powell (Kelvin); his siblings, Donald Caraway (Beverly) of Reidsville, Betty Jones of Mt. Vernon, Linda Todd (Johnny) of Florida and Mary Grantham of Florida; his grandchildren, Ashley Odom (James), Melody Williamson, Craig Conrad, Allison Conrad, Cassandra Williamson, Tanner Roberts, Raylee NeeSmith, Jeffery NeeSmith, Dusty Conrad, Richard Odom and Ella Stephens; his great grandchild Dusty Conrad; and his friends, Andy Peavey, Chris Young, Laney Tatum and Thomas Stephens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
