He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. "Ed" Sharpe, Sr. and Ruby Mosley Sharpe; and his sister Laverne Sharpe Iddins. He is survived by: his wife Fran Sharpe of Vidalia; his daughters, Tracie Sharpe of Vidalia and Pennie Cobb (Jay) of Jacksonville; his stepdaughter Kim Wrenn of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Madison Henline of Garfield, Kayla Cobb of Jacksonville and Will Cobb of Jacksonville; and his brother-in-law Wayne Phillips of Ft. Myers, Florida.
