He is survived by: his wife Charmaine Brice Ward; his daughter Lindsey Ward; his grandson Hayden Ward; his son Jason Ward of South Carolina; and his siblings, Johnny Ward (Danis), Harris Ward and Jan Frost of Vidalia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
