He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram "Dick" Kirby and Leona Bryson Lott; his granddaughter Brittany Kirby; and his sisters, Carol Kirby and Louise Kirby Beecher.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Kirby of Oak Park; his children, Deana Steinbach of Belleview, Jimmy Kirby of Oak Park and Leah Kirby of Ocala, Florida; and his sisters, Patsy Kirby Fowler of Oak Park and Connie Kirby Phillips of Oak Park. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
