It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Beck of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Edgar Beck and Laura Belle Leach Beck. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Beck of Vidalia; his children, Deidre Sutton (Dewayne) of Cartersville, Bruce Mulkey (Tracy) of Vidalia, Ben Beck (Leigh Ann) of Vidalia and Josh Beck (Sarah) of Vidalia; and his siblings, Nick Beck (Jennie) of Cartersville, Brooke Beck (Diana) of Cartersville, Betty Beck Satterfield of Blairsville and Judy Beck Thompson (Dennis) of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, three great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
