She is survived by: her spouse Gary Dowdy of Vidalia; her children, Michael Dowdy of Vidalia, Gregory Dowdy (Melissa) of Warner Robins, Kimberly Dowdy and Jay Williams of Vidalia; her sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Hindman Peacock of San Antonio, Bonnie Lattimer (Charles) of Oviedo, Joanne Turner of Fayetteville, Nell Jenkins (Baughn) of Carrollton and Jackie Watson (Joseph) of McRae; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Gillette, Anastacia Dowdy, Adain Varnadore, Logan Varnadore, Mason Dowdy and Braelyn Dowdy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
