He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Tommy Bray and Wilmer Frances Driggers Hancock; and his brother Edward Hancock. He is survived by: his wife Alta Jones Bray; his children, Frances Bray Henry of Vidalia, James Tommy Bray, Jr. (Brandy) of Vidalia, Jay Mixon (Emily) of Glennville and Zachary Mixon (Lindsey) of Soperton; his sisters, Carolyn Hancock Chambers and Cynthia Hancock Oglesby of Thomaston; his grandchildren, Tyler Bray (Rachel), Ashton Henry, Landon Bray (Alexis), Lauren Henry, Quincy Mixon, Malachi Mixon, Jayce Mixon, Ella Mixon, Landry Mixon, Emree Mixon, Shawn Mixon, Brexton Mixon and Grace Mixon; and his great grandchildren, Jordan Jackson, Nathan Bray and Amaya Henry.
