It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Taylor of Vidalia, Georgia, born in Lyons, Georgia, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Taylor and Ruby Coursey Taylor; his sister Josephine Spivey McCoy; and his granddaughter Georgia Leigh Gilchrist. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Peacock Taylor; his children, Sherry Taylor Hatchett (Kim) of Fort Valley, GA, Steve Taylor (Keith) of Vidalia and John Taylor (Anita) of Vidalia; his sister Betty Taylor Davis of Augusta; his grandchildren, Claire Taylor Clark (Jason), Matt Taylor (Mallory), Kimberly McBride, Scott Taylor (Kelli) and Leigh Taylor Brooks (Tyrone); and his great grandchildren, Jackson McBride, Libby Clark, Georgia McBride, Logan Clark, Cannen Brooks, Cason Brooks, Beckham Taylor and Kaiden Gardner.
