He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lindsey Brooke Knight; his parents, Homer Blake Lewis, Sr. and Beulah Jones Lewis; and his siblings, Virginia Lewis Sessions, Mary Faye Lewis Johnson, Tema Lewis Causey and Erie Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Harrison Lewis of Vidalia; his children, Robbie Lewis of Conway, Jennifer Lewis Knight (Jimmy Cowart) and Blake Lewis (Ginger) of Waycross; his sister Margie Lewis Curry (Bobby Meadows); his grandchildren, Cayla Knight Achenbach (Cody) of Titusville, Carra Knight Zambetti (Michael) of St. Simons Island, Evan Lewis of Waycross and Easton Lewis of Waycross; his great grandchildren, Jackson Achenbach, John Luke Achenbach, Gemma Zambetti and Roman Zambetti; his caregiver Tosha Rhymes; and his friend Ronald Hall.
