He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kilgore Brown; his daughter Dana Brown; his granddaughter Rebecca Shay Lawrence of Vidalia; his stepchildren, Lisa Wessinger Matheson (Mark) of Watkinsville and Wesley Peterson (Zeny) of Guyton; his stepgrandchildren, Lauren, John Casey, Samantha and Sophia; and his sister Dot Alexander (Dickie) of Lyons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
