He is survived by: his daughter Georganna Tippett; his mother Abbie Jo Thompson Tippett; and his siblings, Neal Tippett of Vidalia, Tommy Tippett of Richmond Hill, Susan Giles (Dan) of Rincon and Mike Tippett (Pat) of Baxley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
