He was predeceased by: his parents, Wright Williamson and Sidney Morris Williamson; and his siblings, Virginia Williamson Lawson, Kenneth Williamson and Ronnie Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Richardson Williamson of Vidalia; his children, Greg Williamson (Lisa) and Cheryl Williamson Metzler (Glenn); his grandchildren, Nick Metzler (Luray), Caroline Williamson Styslinger (Justin), Lindsey Metzler Harris (Dustin) and Sidney Williamson Yacovella (Jarrett Alexander); and his great grandchildren, Julia Yacovella of Vidalia and RaeLynn Metzler of Vidalia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
