He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Compton Brinson; and his siblings, Ricky Brinson and Leonra Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Beasley, Michelle Stegner, Kathy Musgrove and James Brinson. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and forty four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
