He was predeceased by: his father Judd Smith. He is survived by: his wife Julie Williams Smith; his children, Peyton Perry (J. K.) of Vidalia, Trent Smith, III of Vidalia, George Smith of Vidalia and John Smith of Vidalia; his mother Helen Wiggins Smith Hamilton of Lyons; and his siblings, Tommy J. Smith (Cathy) of Santa Claus and Rebecca Bridges of Vidalia.
